Wrist Joints Finished

Finally got the wrist joints done(ish)! I'll still need to do some sanding to make them look less...Weird. Here they are! Now only the feet to go~

Wrist joints, ahoy!

Hey guys! Sorry about that delay, I've had things taking forever to dry! Some bits and pieces just can't quite be maneuvered into an oven, and boy are those fingers ever pesky. Anyway, The hands are, for the most part, finished (though they'll look a lot prettier after the final sanding) On to the wrist joints!

Hadn't seen her in a while! Progress shots of the other doll, now known as Adria- lookit those legs! She's strung together very loosely though. She's a little heartier than the faun so I wasn't afraid to try the string.

I'm very happy with the range of motion in the hip joints, as for the base of the hips/torso though, that will need to be carved out a little more, as currently it doesn't allow her to sit up without assistance.

Hey guys, got a progress shot of the hands! Thissun's lookin' good, with the tiny exception that it doesn't have a thumb, hah.

Looks like the faun's trying to pose for Citron Rouge here ahaha!

Mission leg joints...Complete!

Hey guys! Got those leg joints all nice and fitted, everything's lookin' good. I'll have the hands finished and up by tomorrow, so keep an eye out!

Nearly compete faun!

She's piecing together quickly! I'm halfway through working on her legs at the moment- once I'm finished with that I'll make the hands and feet (arguably the most begrudging part- so tiny!) and then all I'll have to do is make sure all the joints are right and do the final sanding and polishing!
The doll itself will turn out to be around sixteen inches in height, so she's a pretty good size! Let me know what you guys think!

A flashy WIP of the Faun's brand new arms! She's not strung together yet because I'm super paranoid about the string being too strong and breaking the clay (happened to me once and broke the entire doll, I cried so bad) so for now to be on the safe side I'll just post pictures of her progress pieced together on the counter!
Still need a name you guys.
Please?
